XSW feasibility study of C₆₀Ph₅–OH on Ag(1 1 1): combining hard X-rays, low Z and, low coverage

摘要

We have undertaken a ”proof of principle” Normal Incidence X-ray standing wave (NIXSW) experiment on a monolayer of Cad35e42e" title="Click to view the MathML source">₆₀Ph₅–OH, a functionalised fullerene, on Ag(111) and show that it is indeed possible to use XSW in case of extremely low coverage of low Z elements such as oxygen. We find a tentative coherent fraction f_co of 30%and a coherent position D_co of 2.35.
