摘要
We report the case of a 50-year-old female patient who suffered painless paresis of the finger extension and thumb abduction on the right side after one mountain bike ride. Motor neurography revealed a conduction block on the posterior interosseous nerve near the elbow.

The exact compression site remains unknown but this entrapment neuropathy may be explained by the conjunction of anatomic anomaly(ies) and repeated stress linked to mountain bike riding. This sport requires elbow extension, maximal forearm pronation, and wrist extension. Repeated finger extension is also required when using the brakes.

Clinical and neuropathological follow-up demonstrated complete recovery after conservative treatment.
