摘要

万山海战是人民海军组建后进行的首次战役,亦是我军首次进行的海陆联合作战。人民海军在充分把握敌我双方态势的基础上,着眼实际、周密部署,以己之长、击敌之短,出其不意、攻其不备,发扬"一不怕苦、二不怕死"的战斗精神,取得了以劣势装备战胜优势装备敌人的光辉战绩。
        The Wanshan sea battle is the first battle of the People′s Navy after its formation, and also the first Navy Army joint operation. Owing to a thorough understanding of the situation of both the enemy side and our own, the People′s Navy, with practical and careful deployment in spite of infe-riority in equipment, takes the enemy by surprise and wins great victory over the well-armed opponent. The battle is won by taking advantage of our own strengths and striking where the enemy is unprepared, as well as by carrying forward the fighting spirit of fearing neither hardship nor death.
