摘要
以现代石油地质理论为指导,利用研究区岩心资料和钻井油气地球化学资料,系统研究了巴布亚盆地中上侏罗统烃源岩特征。研究表明,盆地中上侏罗统烃源岩主要发育在Imburu组、Koi-Iange组、Barikewa组和Magobu组,沉积厚度较大,平均厚度368m,岩性主要为海相、海陆过渡相页岩和泥岩。研究区烃源岩有机质丰度整体中等,局部较高,全区有机碳含量范围为0.40%~2.25%,平均有机碳含量1.57%;有机质类型以Ⅲ型为主,Ⅱ2型次之,有机质热演化普遍达到成熟阶段,局部为高成熟-过成熟(Ro为0.5%~1.3%,局部高达2.1%),具有较好的生烃潜力,表明该区具有良好的油气勘探前景。
Guided by the modern petroleum geology theory,the characteristics of middle-upper Jurassic hydrocarbon source rocks and their hydrocarbon-generated potential are systemically analyzed by using the core data and the oil-gas geochemical data in the study area.The study shows that the middle-upper Jurassic hydrocarbon source rocks are mainly developed in Imburu Formation,Koi-Iange Formation,Barikewa Formation and Magobu Formation in this basin,where the sediment thickness is bigger with average thickness of 368 m,the lithology includes marine or marine-continental transitional facies shale and mudstone.The source rock in this area is characterized by high abundance of organic matter(TOC content generally ranges from 0.40%to 2.25%,it is 1.57% on average),kerogen is type-Ⅲ,followed by type-Ⅱ2and the thermal evolution is generally at maturity stage,locally it is at high maturity stage and over-maturity stage(Ro ranges from 0.5%to 1.3%,locally it even reaches at 2.1%),it has good hydrocarbon potential,it shows that it has a good prospect for oil and gas exploration in the future.
