摘要
历史上关于"鬼方"的研究分为北方说和南方说。作者仔细研读史料,发现北方说代表性人物王国维的"鬼方"就是"畏方"的判断、北方说的"鬼方易"的解读都存在破绽,并且从地理方位来判断"鬼方"在北方的不可能性,也剖析了梁伯戈"鬼方蛮"的"蛮"字的普遍涵义,从而肯定了南方说的科学性。
The studies on"Gui Fang(demon land)"can fall into north one and south one.After thoroughly reading the materials,the author finds that "Gui Fang" by Wang Guo-wei(the representative of the north study) is from "Wei Fang" and there exists certain flaw in the reading of "Gui Fang Yi";besides,the author of this paper thinks it is impossible for the existence of "Gui Fang" in the north,and analyzes the common connotation of "Man(蛮)"in"Gui Fang Man(鬼方蛮)",thus ensuring the right of the south study.
