富铝尖晶石引入方式对Al_2O_3-SiC-C铁沟料高温性能的影响

摘要
以棕刚玉(8~5、5~3、3~1 mm)、板状刚玉(1~0. 074、≤0. 074 mm)、碳化硅(1~0. 074 mm)、球沥青(1~0. 2 mm)等为主原料,分别用3%和6%(w)的1~0. 074 mm或5%和10%(w)的≤0. 074 mm富铝尖晶石单独替代同粒度的板状刚玉,或者是引入两种粒度和加入量的富铝尖晶石复合替代,制备了6组加富铝尖晶石的Al_2O_3-SiC-C铁沟浇注料,检测烘干后试样的高温抗折强度、热膨胀率、抗渣侵蚀性,并对抗渣后试样进行显微结构分析。结果表明:向Al_2O_3-SiC-C铁沟浇注料中引入富铝尖晶石,会降低试样热膨胀率,提高抗热震性和抗熔渣侵蚀、渗透性;富铝尖晶石能与熔渣中的FeO反应生成(Mg,Fe) Al_2O_4复合尖晶石,能吸附熔渣中CaO生成CA_6和CA_2,所以向Al_2O_3-SiC-C铁沟浇注料中引入富铝尖晶石会提高抗熔渣侵蚀性和渗透性,其中以1~0. 074和≤0. 074 mm的富铝尖晶石同时替代一半同粒度板状刚玉的性能改善最明显。
        Six groups of Al_2O_3-SiC-C castables for iron runner were prepared using brown corundum( 8-5,5-3,3-1 mm),tabular corundum( 1-0. 074 mm,≤0. 074 mm),silicon carbide( 1-0. 074 mm),ball pitch( 1-0.2 mm) as main starting materials,using 3 mass% or 6 mass% alumina-rich spinel( 1-0.074 mm),or5% or 10% alumina-rich spinel( ≤0. 074 mm),or the alumina-rich spinel composite powder with two particle sizes and additions to substitute for tabular corundum with the same particle size. The hot modulus of rupture,thermal expansion rate,slag resistance of the specimens after drying and the SEM microstructure of specimens after slag resistance test were investigated. The results show that the introduction of alumina-rich spinel into Al_2O_3-SiC-C castables decreases the thermal expansion rate,enhances the resistance to thermal shock and slag erosion and permeation; alumina-rich spinel reacts with Fe O in melting slag forming( Mg·Fe) Al_2O_4,which can absorb Ca O in the slag forming CA_6 and CA_2; so alumina-rich spinel addition in Al_2O_3-SiC-C castables can improve slag erosion and permeation resistance. The addition of 1-0. 074 and ≤0. 074 mm alumina-rich spinel to replace a half amount of the tabular corundum of the same size has the best effect.
