The New European Driving Cycle(NEDC)test is conducted on the tested vehicles under different environmental conditions, and the additional emissions and fuel consumption for vehicle air-conditioning are analyzed. The results show that it will result in vehicle emissions and fuel consumption increasing in different degrees with air-conditioning(AC)on.When the ambient temperature is 30℃,the light intensity is 850 W/m~2,and the AC setting temperature is 22℃,the fuel consumption is increased by 1.78-3.43 L/100 km,and the emissions is increased by 0.002-0.138 g/km.The ambient temperature has the most obvious effect on the additional fuel consumption of AC,followed by the light intensity;the ambient temperature increases by each5℃,it will lead to the increment of 0.2-0.3 L/100 km in the additional fuel consumption of AC;the light intensity increases by each 100 W/m~2,it will lead to the increment of 0.07-0.09 L/100 km in the additional fuel consumption of AC.
