设计批评价值观的反思与重建——评李万军的《现代设计批评:人本主义维度》

摘要
设计的现代性存在既是产品化的,也是语言性的,它已广泛进入大众的日常生活话语中。现代设计批评的哲学研究因而十分必要,它要为设计的价值判断提供原则与根据,并为大众分辨传播媒介中的设计评论话语提供理性的范畴。李万军的《现代设计批评:人本主义维度》是该方向的重要著述,该书以"人本主义"为主线,对现代设计批评的多维话语现象进行了深入的阐述,对当代设计的享乐主义、技术主义、虚无主义危机做出了前瞻性的诊断,由此提出了当代设计批评应有的伦理原则。人本主义设计批评原则的价值观因此得到了深度的反思与重构,凸现了该书重要的理论价值与现实价值。
Design is now present as a product, and also as a language which has been widely commented on by the public. The research on the philosophy of design criticism is necessary, which should provide principles and grounds for the value judgement of design, as well as the reasonable categories to distinguish between different design comments. Li Wanjun's Criticism of Modern Design is such a book that proposes the principle of Humanism should be used in the modern criticism of design. He demonstrates the four dimensions of modern design criticism and states the potential crisis of Hedonism,Technological Doctrine and Nihilism. Reconstruction of the values of Humanism, which should be the basic perspective of design criticism, has been the most positive and creative content of the book.
