In order to study the geological influencing factors of coalbed methane accumulation, this paper analyzes the lithology and thickness of coal seam roof, coal seam thickness, buried depth, coal seam metamorphism degree and area by using 2#, 8# and 9# coal seams in Yulan Coal Mine as background. The relationship between structure and coalbed methane accumulation. It is concluded that the reservoir gas content does not have a significant correlation with the thickness of the coal seam roof and floor; it is positively correlated with the coal seam thickness and negatively correlated with the coal ash, volatile matter and moisture content. Coalbed methane accumulation is mainly affected by coalification, structural characteristics, reservoir burial depth and coal seam thickness, which is the result of a combination of various influencing factors.
