Corn stover is rich in cellulose and has high utilization value. But the corn stalks are difficult to be degradated and screened efficiently. The corn stover degradation strains is the key to solving this problem. In this paper,6 strains of cellulose-degrading were isolated and screened from farmland soil by enrichment culture. With the congo red cellulose plate primary screening and cellulase activity re-screening methods, the 6 fibre-degrading bacteria were screened from the soil, and the straw-degrading strain with strain No. L-4 of the cellulase activity was the highest, which was 23.59 U/g, and the degradation rate of corn stalk for 15 days at 28℃ was 23.32%.
