摘要

20世纪后半叶,工业考古学研究在英国兴起,并为英国工业遗产研究奠定了基础。帕默·玛丽莲与彼得·尼弗森合著的《工业考古原则与实践》一书,探讨工业考古学的研究领域与范畴,构建工业考古学与工业遗产的相关性研究,对我国工业遗产研究与保护的进一步拓展有一定借鉴意义。
        In the latter half of the twentieth century, the study on industrial archaeology arose in England and laid the foundation for the study of British industrial heritage. The book of industrial archaeology and practice of Palmer Marilyn and Peter Niverson, starting from the study of industrial archaeology in Britain, the research fields and categories of industrial archaeology are discussed, and the study of the correlation between industrial archaeology and industrial heritage are established. It will have a certain reference significance for the further development of the research and protection of industrial heritage in China.
