摘要
首次报道了辽宁北票羊草沟盆地上三叠统羊草沟组可疑的苔类。由于缺少表皮构造特征,将这些似叶状体状植物归入与苔类和藻类亲缘性关系还不清楚的形态属Thallites,并建立了一个新种,羊草沟似叶状体(新种)(Thallites yangcaogouensis sp. nov.)。植物体近圆形,似叶状体厚,边缘全缘,规则二岐分叉3次,前2次分叉较深,最后1次分叉较浅,形成三角形裂片,顶端钝尖;中肋自似叶状体基部伸出,呈明显脊状,伸达似叶状体顶端。当前新种表面保存有不规则的小凸起和毛发状物,推测是似叶状体腹面鳞片和假根的印痕,与苔纲地钱目特征相似。根据现生苔类的生态学和羊草沟植物群成特征分析,推测新种可能生长在温暖潮湿气候条件下的湖泊、河流附近的潮湿土壤或岩石表面。这个类群的发现为了解辽西地区晚三叠世古地理、古环境提供了新证据。
        This paper firstly reports a doubtful liverwort from the Late Triassic Yangcaogou Formation of the Yangcaogou Basin in Beipiao,Liaoning,China. Lacking of definitive epidermal characters,these thalloid plants are assigned to the form genus Thallites that has neither clear cut algal nor bryophytic affinities,and a new species,Thallites yangcaogouensis sp. nov. is established. The thalloid plant is in nearly rounded shape,with thick thallus and entire margin. They dichotomously branch up three times regularly,the first two are deeply notched,the last is shallow notched,and forming triangular lob with blunt apex. A conspicuous and ridge-like midrib extends from the thallus base reaching the tip of the lobe. There are irregularly small bulges and hair-like imprints on the surface of the new species,which may be the impressions of the ventral scales and rhizoids of thallus,showing close resemblance with Marchantiales. According to the ecological analysis of living liverworts and the compositional features of Yangcaogou flora,it is possible that the new species grew on moist soils and rock surfaces near lakes or rivers in a warm and humid environment. This discovery of this group provides new evidence for understanding the Late Triassic paleogeography and paleoenvironment in western Liaoning,China.
