摘要

探讨蒙医常见病症汉名的英译既可以利于传播蒙医学,使其发挥治病救人的功效,又可以传播蒙古族文化。本文根据对蒙医常见病症汉名的英译实践所积累的认识,尝试规范蒙医术语翻译原则。文章部分引用了《蒙医妙诊》等典籍中的常见病症,分析了蒙医常见病症名称的特点,用以探讨病症汉名的英译技巧。
        To talk about the English translation principles and techniques of names of common symptoms in Mongolian Medicine is not only to help spread Mongolian Medicine, which is able to take effects of treatments effectively, but also to enhance the widespread of Mongolian culture. Based on some valuable experiences and accumulation on the English translation texts of names of common symptoms, the author tries to sum up a set of principles on how to translate those terms in Mongolian Medicine. With quotations from some medical books, such as Effective Diagnosis on Mongolian Medicine, etc., the author also analyzes the characteristics of Mongolian Medicine symptoms to guide how to translate their names in English. Meanwhile, some effective translating methods and techniques are involved in the thesis, too.
