西部高校MPH培养模式初探

摘要
目的通过对公共卫生硕士研究生(MPH)培养过程调查,探讨MPH培养模式改革方案。方法采用自编问卷对西部8所医学院校MPH研究生开展问卷调查。结果 69.51%的学生是因为工作需求而选择就读MPH;仅有40%左右的研究生对总体课程设置及实践内容满意;32.93%的研究生能够每月与导师交流5次以上;仅有39.63%的研究生对本专业的整体教育满意;仅39.02%的MPH研究生毕业论文的选题定位与当前公共卫生实践及应用密切相关。结论高校还需进一步明确MPH培养目标,突出公共卫生应用型人才的能力培养;优化课程体系,突出MPH的优势;拓展各类实践基地,建立创新的社会实践形式;完善MPH毕业考核方式。
Objective This research investigate the reform scheme of Master of public health(MPH)by evaluating of the cultivation process of MPH.Methods We conduct questionnaires to 8 medical schools of MPH in west using self-designed questionnaires.Results 69.51% of students choose to study MPH because of work requirements.Only about 40% of the graduate students were satisfied with the course and application.32.93% of graduate students can communicate with the tutor more than 5 times a month.Only 39.63% of the graduate students were satisfied with the overall education.Only 39.02% of MPH graduation thesis is closely related to current public health practices and applications.Conclusion MPH needs to further define training objectives and highlight the ability training of applied talents.And also require to optimizing the curriculum system and prominent ability cultivation of applied talents.Expand the practice base and set up the innovative social practice form.Improve the method of graduation evaluation.
