Due to the restriction of the topography and geomorphology in the gullied loess plateau, the urban space is expanded along the gully and valley land, which seems to have become a necessity. Based on the main problems of zonal spatial form and the future development demands and the analysis and selection to the large surrounding area of the county which may affect the future development of Zi Chang County, the layout is finally determined. Such a form can ease and avoid the limitation of the zonal shape in the resource consumption, social economy and environmental benefits, but also combine city with nature to the fullest extent. Although its formation seems come from a certain chance, it is the result of deep consideration of the county's actual situation and its future development opportunities, it is a necessity of the fully respect to the nature and the environment.
