The theory of "three creates all"is a common view in traditional Chinese culture. "Three"refers to the opening, closing and pivot of three yin and three yang,in which the"pivot"is the most important one. This is also the basis for constructing the theory of traditional Chinese medicine(TCM). Based on this,Inner Canon of Yellow Emperor(《黄帝内经》) established a human-centered medical model consisted of three elements,i. e. heaven, earth and man,and established of the view of life, disease and treatment containing the characteristics of related thinking. Therefore,an in-depth analysis of the impact of the idea of "three creates all"on the construction of the theoretical system of Inner Canon of Yellow Emperor can deepen the understanding of the classical theories of TCM.
