李政道与他的三位中国恩师

1946年春,仅为大学二年级学生的李政道被选中赴美研修原子技术,原因与三位物理学大师密不可分。束星北对李政道志向物理学有"启蒙"之功;吴大猷选中李政道跟随自己赴美是一个大胆的决定,引发了西南联大物理系年轻教师的不满,但得到了理学院院长叶企孙的鼎力支持。李政道在学业上表现出来的天分和才华是吴大猷和叶企孙都选中他的根本原因。李政道早年的"机遇"与"幸运"是他后来不断为中国科技和教育事业的发展尽心尽力做出贡献的根源所在。
In the spring of 1946, a sophomore, Lee Tsung-Dao was selected to leave for America to study atomic technology, which he should own his thanks to three physicists. Shu Xingbei enlightened Lee Tsung-Dao on physics. Wu Dayou made a courageous decision to get himself accompanied by Lee Tsung-Dao to America, which irritated other young teaching assistants in the department of Physics in the Southwest Associated University, while supported by Ye Qisun, head of the Institute of Science. It was mainly due to Lee Tsung-Dao's talent and brilliance that he could be chosen by Ye Qisun. Lee Tsung-Dao continuously devoting his heart and soul to China's technology and education career later on, was rooted in the "opportunities" and "fortunes" that he met with in his early years.
