摘要
本文介绍了保偏光纤的基本原理;一种应力区面积小于2%的保偏光纤的结构设计方法以及这种保偏光纤良好的性能指标,特别是其优越的高低温环境性能和强度性能,是一种适合于高精度光纤陀螺和其它传感器用保偏光纤。
This paper introduced the basic principle of polarization maintaining optical fiber(PMF); the design method of a stress area less than 2% PMF and the fiber excellent properties. Especially the stress area less than 2% PMF shows its outstanding high and low temperature performance and strength properties, it is suitable for high precision fiber optic gyro and other sensors.
