碳纳米管与基底界面的加入中间层对场发射性能影响研究

摘要
碳纳米管的发现,引起了全世界众多科学家的广泛关注,其优异的电学、力学、磁学性能,在许多领域有广泛的应用前景。尤其是它具有较低的逸出功函数,大的长径比,高发射电流密度,纳米级的曲率半径和良好的导电性,因此被认为是一种优良的场致发射阴极。目前大电流CNTs场发射冷阴极主要是通过在阴极基底上丝网印刷CNTs的方法制备,然而CNTs与阴极基底的不良接触会导致出现CNTs易脱落及CNTs阴极的发射电流不稳定等现象,影响CNTs阴极场致发射性能。本文中,我们主要研究在碳纳米管与基底之间加入中间层,使碳纳米管与基底之间具有优良接触较强的附着力和导电性,进而提高CNTs场发射性能。实验结果表明:1在碳纳米管和无氧铜基片之间丝印一层中间层材料(银浆或碳纤维-银浆的混合物)有助于提高碳纳米管阴极的场发射性能,同时用碳纤维-银浆的混合物当中间层材料后碳纳米管阴极的场发射性能更加优异;2阴极中间层材料为碳纤维-银浆混合浆料(1:4)时,碳纳米管阴极开启电场和阈值电场最低,场发射性能最好。
The discovery of carbon nanotubes, attracted wide attention of many scientists around the world, and its excellent electrical, mechanical, magnetic properties, has broad application prospects in many areas. In particular, it has the function of a low work function, a large aspect ratio, high emission current density, and the nanoscale radius of curvature, good electrical conductivity, therefore it is considered to be a superior field emitter. Currently, large current CNTs field emission cold cathode is mainly preparing CNTs on a cathode substrate by the method of screen printing, however poorly contact CNTs with the cathode substrate can be easily detached and cause CNTs cathode emission current instability, affecting CNTs cathode field emission performance. In this paper, we mainly study that added intermediate layer between the carbon nanotubes and the substrate, so that carbon nanotubes in contact with the substrate and has excellent electrical conductivity and strong adhesion, thereby increasing CNTs field emission properties. The results show that: 1,between the carbon nanotubes and oxygen-free copper substrate silk screen intermediate layer material(silver or carbon fiber-silver paste) help to improve the performance of carbon nanotube field emission, while intermediate layer material is carbon fiber-silver paste,the carbon nanotube cathode field emission performance is more excellent; 2, when the intermediate layer material is carbon fiber-silver paste(1: 4), the carbon nanotube cathode turn-on field and threshold field the lowest, the best field emission properties.
