摘要

<正>如何对城市快速扩张做出反应?这已成为大多数大城市面临的重要问题,不仅在美国,在中国和印度等发展中国家同样如此。笔者探究了美国城市蔓延如何影响城市中心区域人口的快速减少和由此产生的城市贫困以及如何受该现象的影响;并尝试分析社会和经济变化如何影响城市贫困和无家可归的问题。由于无家可归的主要因素是贫困,因此,我们可以将其部分结构性原因归因于20世纪后期
