超高分辨率荧光显微镜观察明胶在碳酸钙晶体中的分布

摘要
有机组分在生物材料中的分布对研究有机-无机二者相互作用提供了最为直观的证据,本工作利用超高分辨率荧光显微镜观察到明胶在球霰石中呈纳米级均匀分布,而在方解石中倾向于聚集在晶体边缘,并观察了明胶被排出碳酸钙晶体的过程。
Biological organic-inorganic hybrid materials achieve excellent properties and have a guiding role in designing advanced materials.The organic phase plays a key role on the properties of biogenic materials,and the spatial arrangement of organic and inorganic phases provides the direct evidence for the interaction of the two phases.Super-resolution fluorescence microscopy was used to visualize the gelatin distribution in different crystalline polymorphs of calcium carbonate:vaterite and calcite,and to investigate the process that gelatin was excluded from CaCO_3 crystal.The results demonstrated that gelatin was in a nanosized,uniform style in vaterite microspheres whereas it tended to accumulate on the edge of the calcite rhombohedron,which revealed the dynamic process of gelatin in the CaCO_3 crystal.
