一种共面极化无关的宽带低耗左手材料

摘要
本文提出了一种十字箭头状结构的共面极化无关宽带低耗左手材料。利用单元之间的耦合并合理选择结构单元尺寸,使电谐振等效电路的谐振频率与磁谐振等效电路的谐振频率相等,从而最大限度地实现宽频带左手材料。理论分析、仿真和测试结果均表明,本文提出的箭头状左手材料在8.0-13.7GHz频段同时具有负的磁导率和负的介电常数,相对带宽52.3%,损耗性能系数73.4,实现了宽带低耗左手材料。
A polarization independent broadband low-loss left handed metamaterials consist of periodic array of cross arrow pairs(CAPs), printed on only one side of a dielectric substrate, is introduced. By properly setting the geometrical parameters of adjacent unit cells, the electric resonance frequency can be made equal to the magnetic resonance frequency. Thus, the left-handed bandwidth reaches its maximum. Simulation and experiment results and analysis demonstrate that this construction exhibited negative effective permittivity and permeability simultaneously at frequency range from 8.0GHz to 13.7GHz, its relative negative refraction passband reached 52.3%, and the figure of merit reached 73.4.
