Mo_2C纳米片/氮掺杂碳材料的制备及高效电化学析氢研究

摘要
电解水制氢是清洁和可再生能源开发领域中最具潜力的技术之一,开展可替代铂类催化剂的高效廉价非贵金属催化材料研究是该领域的优先主题[1]。我们采用钼基层状结构前驱体,基于原位碳化反应,将Mo_2C纳米片均匀分散在氮掺杂碳基质中。在该材料中,Mo_2C纳米片可能具有大量的本征类铂析氢活性点位[2],而氮掺杂碳基质将利于反应动力学进行。系统的电催化析氢性能研究表明,在酸性条件下,该材料具有与铂催化剂极为相近的催化活性。
Hydrogen evolution reaction(HER) from water through electrocatalysis using highly active noble metal-free catalysts as an alternative to precious Pt-based catalysts holds great promise for clean and renewable energy systems [1]. Here, Mo_2C nanosheets monodispersed in N-doped carbon(MCNS/NC) is facile achieved by in situ carburization of the Mo-based lamellar mesostructure, and demonstrated for the first time as an ultra-efficient and durable HER catalyst. Remarkable HER catalytic activity is achieved in acidic media, benefiting from rich active site of the Mo_2C nanosheets, intrinsic HER activity related to the Pt-like electronic and chemical properties[2], as well as enhanced reaction kinetics of conductive N-doped carbonaceous matrix.
