氧化—还原响应型两性离子表面活性剂及自组装

摘要
硒与硫同属氧族元素,具有较为相近的性质。作为人体必需的微量矿物质营养素之一,硒是一种重要的食物源抗氧化剂,在人体内许多关键的新陈代谢过程中发挥着重要作用。最近,本团队设计合成了一种含硒甜菜碱型表面活性剂,展现出明显的氧化—还原刺激响应特性:还原态,为典型的表面活性剂,具有良好的乳化和发泡性能;氧化态,为仅为表面活性物质,乳化和发泡性能较差。随着双氧水和VC的循环加入,该表面活性剂与十二烷基硫酸酯钠盐的共组装聚集体结构在囊泡和蠕虫状胶束间可逆转变,实现体系粘度的智能开关。
Selenium,is a semimetallic chemical element and a member of the group XVI of the periodic table.In chemical activity and physical properties,it resembles sulfur and tellurium.As one of the necessary elements in human body,great effort has been put to synthesize numerous antioxidant compounds based on selenium-containing molecules,including polymers and proteins.Here,our team reported for first one selenium-containing zwitterionic surfactant,3-(ll-benzylselanyl-undecyl)-dimethyl ammonium propane sulfonate(BSeUSBe),which shows glaring redox-responsive behaviors.BSeUSBe is one typical surfactant at reduction state,possessing excellent emulsification and foaming ability;whereas at oxidation state,it is only a surface active compound with poor emulsification and foaming ability.Whilst,with alternately adding H_2O_2 and VC,the co-assemble aggregate of BSeUSBe and sodium dodecyl sulfate in brine water reversibly switches between vesicle and worm accompanied with sol-gel transition in macroscopic rheological property.
