摘要
生态批评20世纪70年代前期发轫于美国,成熟于90年代中期,之后随着全球生态形式的日益恶化和生态运动的蓬勃发展,生态批评迅速发展成了国际文学、文化绿色批评潮流,跨文明生态对话已成为其主要议题之一,在此,笔者就西方生态批评与佛教之间的跨文明生态对话作一简要的分析,以说明佛教所蕴藏的丰富生态智慧及其在生态危机时代的重要文化价值。
