电沉积钴镍合金作为高效的全电解水双功能催化剂

摘要
在有氯化物和氯化铵存在的电解槽中通过电沉积的方法在钛网上沉积钴镍合金(CoNi_x)。实验系统的研究了电解液组成,沉积时间以及沉积电流密度对沉积薄膜的影响。通过扫描电子显微镜(SEM)和X射线衍射(XRD)对材料形态和相应的晶体结构进行了表征。实验探究了沉积薄膜的电化学性能,包括析氢和析氧的电流密度,塔菲尔斜率和稳定性测试。实验表明在1.0MKOH电解液中,作为析氢和析氧的催化剂使用时CoNi_2表现出了优异的催化活性。
Cobalt-Nickel alloys(Co Nix) were electrodeposited on titanium mesh in the chloride electrolytes with adding ammonium chloride into the baths. The effects of bath composition, deposition time and current density on the electrodeposited thin films were systematically explored. The morphology and corresponding crystal structure of deposits were evaluated by scanning electron microscopy(SEM) and X-ray diffraction(XRD). The electrochemical properties of the deposited film, including the current densities, the Tafel slope and stability testing of hydrogen evolution and oxygen evolution for Co Nix were explored. CoNi_2 as bifunctional electrocatalysts for overall water splitting displays superior catalytic activity.
