电控离子交换膜技术:从电控离子交换到电控离子选择渗透膜

摘要
电控离子交换膜技术是一种绿色、高效的新型离子分离技术,在重金属污水处理、盐湖卤水资源化利用、饮用水净化等诸多领域具有广泛的应用前景.电控离子交换(ESIX)是指利用极电位作为离子传递的推动力,通过可控调节电活性离子交换材料(EIXM)的氧化还原电位,实现离子可逆的置入与释放,以达到离子的选择性分离的目的.经典的ESIX工艺需要通过电路、液路切换等工序实现离子分离和浓缩,属于间歇过程不利于工业化.本研究在ESIX的基础上结合膜分离技术开发出一种新型的电控离子选择渗透膜(ESIPM)分离工艺,通过脉冲电位调控ESIPM的氧化还原状态,结合外部电场对离子的定向迁移作用,实现目标离子的选择性连续分离.
As a green and efficient ion separation method,the electrochemically switched ion permselective membrane(EIPM) technology can be widely using in various fields,such as treating industrial sewage contained heavy metal ions,extracting salt resource from the brine and purifying drinking water.Electrochemically switched ion exchange(ESIX) provides a selective and reversible process for the separation of target ions.In the ESIX process,the ion uptake and elution can be controlled directly by modulating the electrochemical potential of electroactive ion exchange material(EIXM).Traditional ESIX technique is a batch process for ion separation because of the indispensable circuit and fluid switched system.In this research,a novel EIPM separation technique was developed on basis of ESIX method.The continuous separation of target ion can be realized by adjusting the redox state of ESIPM with the assistance of external electric field.
