摘要
本文首先对高低文化语境与地方特色文化词汇之间的关联进行了简要阐述,以高低文化语境理论为基础,结合广东省特色建筑及艺术品文化词汇的翻译实例,最终对地方特色文化词汇的翻译方法及策略进行探究及总结,为地方特色文化词汇的翻译研究提供参考,促进中西方跨文化交际的进行。
Based on High and Low Cultural Context Theory and some translation practices of Guangdong local distinctive buildings and works of art, this paper gives a brief exposition for the relationship between high and low cultural context and local culture-loaded words, and analyze and summarize the translation methods and strategies of such words in the end to enrich the translation researches about such words and to promote smooth cross-cultural communication between China and the West.
