空间稀疏信号模型下的自动对角加载方法性能研究

摘要
标准Capon波束形成器(Standard Capon Beamformer,SCB)对协方差矩阵估计误差和导向向量误差较敏感,鲁棒性较差,因此稳健自适应波束形成器一直是研究的热点。而研究最广泛的方法是对角加载类方法,本文重点研究了空间稀疏信号模型下的两种经典自动对角加载方法,该研究首次揭示这两种方法存在的问题,即在快拍数较大或阵元数较大时性能会明显下降,且当导向向量存在误差时,两种方法的鲁棒性较差。因此需要研究新型自动对角加载方法解决传统自动对角加载方法的问题。
The standard Capon beamformer(SCB) is very sensitive to the imprecise knowledge of the covariance matrix and that of the steering vector, so it is always a hot topic to improve the robustness of the SCB. One of the most widely used robust capon beamformer approaches is diagonal loading(DL), this paper first studied the performance of two traditional automatic DL methods with a spatially sparse signal model. According to this study, we reveal that the two traditional automatic DL methods obviously degrade their performances when the number of snapshots and/or the number of sensors increase. In addition, the steering angle error also has a significant impact on the two methods. Therefore, a new-style automatic diagonal loading method that can solve the problems mentioned above is needed.
