Flannery O' Connor is a prestigious southern writer in the post-war America.Incorporating her religious belief into stories and novels,O' Connor declares on more than one occasion that her Catholic faith offered a unique dimension and insights in her writing.By comparing and contrasting the way Protestantism and Catholicism look at major doctrines, such as sin, salvation and sacraments and the way they are embodied in her fiction, the author points out what her fiction conveyed is nothing but orthodox Christian ideas that contains no denominational differences.
