Modeling and Simulation of Gas Turbine Starter and Fuel Control System

摘要
Gas turbine starter is an important component of aero-engine gas turbine starting system,and its performance directly affects the starting ability of aero-engine.In order to meet the requirements of starter power for different types of large engines and to provide theoretical basis for modification of starters,this paper pays attention to the performance of a gas turbine starter and its fuel control system.The structure and operating principle of the system are firstly analyzed.Based on the AMESim mechanical hydraulic simulation software,the component-level model of fuel control system is constructed.Then the model of the starter part is established according to the basic principles of gas dynamics and thermodynamics.By comparing the simulation results of the model with the experimental data,results show that the established model can meet the needs of engineering and thus provides a simulation platform for future research of gas turbine starter.
