网络表情的情绪启动研究

摘要
情绪启动效应是指情绪经验对当前任务加工的积极或消极的影响,即个体对情绪效价与启动刺激相似的靶刺激更为敏感,一般表现为反应更快更准。网络沟通做为一种新兴的交流方式,网络表情的使用使单调的纯文字沟通变得更加生动,更富有情绪色彩,可能存在情绪启动效应。本文结合使用经典情绪启动范式和后向情绪启动范式,应用网络表情图片作为启动刺激,分别以真实人脸表情图片和双字情绪词作为靶刺激来分析图——图编码一致和图——词编码不一致情况下网络表情的正向和后向情绪启动效应。研究一包括实验1和实验2,目的是探究图——图条件下网络表情图片对真实人脸表情图片的正向和后向情绪启动效应。实验1采用2启靶效价一致性(一致、不一致)×3 SOA(100ms、300ms、500ms)二因素被试内设计;实验2采用2启靶效价一致性(一致、不一致)×3 SOA(-100ms、-250ms、-400ms)二因素被试内设计。研究二包括实验3和实验4目的是探究图-词条件下网络表情图片对双字情绪词的正向和反向情绪启动效应,实验设计分别同于实验1和实验2,要求被试进行评价分类任务,因变量均为反应时和准确率。使用E-Prime软件进行材料呈示和数据收集,采用重复测量方差分析,结果发现:(1)在图——图编码一致条件下,正向和后向情绪启动效应均显著,即网络表情与真实人脸情绪效价一致相对于不一致时反应更为迅速和准确;(2)在图——词编码不一致条件下,网络表情只在准确率上表现出情绪启动效应,反应时在启动刺激和靶刺激效价一致性主效应不显著;(3)在图——图编码一致条件下,网络表情在ISI为0时表现出后向情绪启动优势。
The affective priming effect refers to the emotion experience of positive or negative impact on the current task processing. Namely individuals tend to be more sensitive to similar valence primes, many findings show that evaluations are faster and more accurate when they are preceded by valence-congruent primes. Network communication as a new way of communication, the using of the network expressions make pure text communication more vivid and emotional, which means network expressions may trigger affective priming effect.In this paper, we used typical affective priming combined with backward affective priming experimental paradigm, taking network expressions as prime stimulus with real facial expression pictures and Chinese two-character mood words as target stimulus to explored the forward affective priming and backward affective priming on coding consistency and coding inconsistency conditions. Study 1 including experiment 1 and experiment 2 aimed to investigate the forward and backward affective priming on the network expression picture to real facial expression picture coding consistency condition. In experiment 1, we adopt within-subjects design of two factors: 2 consistency(valence congruent, valence incongruent) × 3 SOA(100ms, 300 ms, 500ms). And in experiment 2, we employed within-subjects design of two factors: 2 consistency(valence congruent, valence incongruent) × 3 SOA(-100 ms,-250 ms,-400ms). Study 2 including experiment 3 and experiment 4 conducted to investigate the forward and backward affective priming on the network expression picture to Chinese two-character mood words coding consistency condition. The design of experiment 3 and experiment 4 were respectively same to experiment 1 and experiment 2. In all four experiments, we using the evaluative categorization task and the dependent variable were reaction time and accuracy. Materials presented and data collected by E-Prime software, and then analyzed by ANOVA for repeated measurement. Results of the four experiments indicated that:(1) Under the coding consistency condition, both forward and backward affective priming effect were significant, which participants evaluated more quickly and more accurate when emotion valence of network expressions were congruent with real facial expressions;(2) Under the coding inconsistency condition, network expressions triggered notably affective priming effective only on accuracy rather than reaction time;(3) Under the coding consistency condition, participants reacted better backward affective priming effect than forward on 0 ISI.
