模式识别在集装箱物流管理中的应用

摘要
现代商品运输中,集装箱得到广泛使用,形成了包含铁路、公路以及海运的一个完整物流体系。为了实现对集装箱运输的自动化管理,关键技术在于计算机对其编号的实时识别。本课题在Visual C++6.0编程平台上开发了一个基于SQL Server 2000数据库的集装箱编号自动识别及管理软件系统,包含编号定位、字符识别、数据库功能等三个模块。工作流程是根据现场采集到的包含集装箱编号的图像,将编号区域检测并分割出来,经过图像增强、图像二值化、字符分割等操作,将字符图像与系统中内建的字符模板进行匹配,根据计算得到的相似度实现对字符的识别,然后将识别结果与报关单中的集装箱编号进行核对,并连接数据库,检索该集装箱相关信息,完成相应的数据库操作。本课题的难点在于模板匹配,在算法上作者尽量找到提高识别率与提高识别速度这两个标准的契合点,达到了较好的识别效果,较以往采用神经网络方法的同类软件有很大改善。
Today container transport is widely used, and it has come into being a logistics system, including railway, road and sea transport. The key technology of automatization of container administration is to realize the real time recognition of container characters by computer. In the paper, we design a system which can not only recognize container characters on real time but also administrate container transport. The system includes character location module, character recognition module and database module. The flow of computer program is as follows: first, characters area will be located in the picture which contains the container and be segmented from it; second, after some operations such as image processing, binarization and character segment, the character image will be matched with the template which has been built in the system, then the character can be recognized according to the similitude; last, we can access database of container information according its character. The difficulty of the paper is template matching. We have find a method
    
    
    
    to increase recognition efficiency and to decrease time. As for the shortcoming of details and limitation of the software, I believe they should be resolved later.
