基于MST9251的液晶显示器软件设计

摘要
显示器件是人机联系和信息展示的窗口,随着信息技术和计算机互联网的高速发展,知识和信息传播交流越来越依赖显示技术,显示器件已成为全球性、实时性信息交流的主要手段。近年来,液晶显示技术飞速发展,液晶显示器以其轻薄短小、低耗电量、无辐射危险、平面直角显示以及影像稳定不闪烁等优势,在价格不断下跌的吸引下,已全面取代CRT显示器而占据主流地位,目前正朝着更大尺寸方向发展,分辨率越来越高。本文对大屏幕高分辨率液晶显示器相关技术及其系统软件的开发进行了研究。
     本论文的研究课题来源于讯诚光电公司一款47英寸液晶显示器开发项目。该项目采用了Mstar公司的MST9251图像处理芯片和Winbond公司的W79E632A微处理器构成的硬件系统,按照液晶显示器产品开发规格书的具体要求来设计液晶显示器的软件部分,实现了一种基于MST9251的液晶显示器软件系统。
     论文基于微处理器和图像处理芯片的硬件系统,分析了信号输入模块、键盘输入模块、MCU控制模块和图像处理模块的功能。软件部分介绍了IIC总线协议,对按键处理、模式探测处理、OSD(On-Screen Display)用户菜单、工厂模式及烧机模式等各部分进行了具体的设计与开发。设计出了一种最高支持分辨率为1920×1200,能自动识别处理VGA和DVI信号的液晶显示器。显示器具有正常满框显示输入视频图像,用户模式OSD菜单和工厂模式菜单对图像的调节等功能。
     测试阶段,使用视频图形信号产生器对所有的相关功能进行了严格的系统测试。测试结果完全符合产品开发规格书,是目前比较先进和功能完善的以MST9251为核心的液晶显示系统。
In recent years,the liquid crystal display has already replaced CRT display and occupied the major position for its advantages of thin and small,low power consumption,no radiation dangerous,steady image and flicker-free,under the attraction of constantly dropping price.In 2006,the 17" liquid crystal display has become main product of market in China.15" eliminated progressively.19" and wider display increased by a large margin,developing in larger size and higher resolution at present.Therefore it is great realistically meaningful to research the high-resolution of the large screen and relevant system software.
     The research of this thesis originated from a project developing 47-inch LCD display. Microprocessor W79E632A from Winbond Corporation and imaging processor MST9251 from MStar Corporation are adopted in the project as its kernel hardware system.LCD Software system was designed according to the requirement from specification and realized with MST9251 Scaler.
     On the basis of hardware containing microprocessor and imaging processor,a concrete analysis is presented to the functionality of signal input module,keyboard input module,MCU controlling module and image processing module.The processing course of the signal was carried on corresponding analysis.The IIC bus was introduced.All the portions were researched and designed such as keyboard processing,mode detection,OSD user menu,factory mode and burn in mode.A LCD display was designed of supporting up to 1920×1200 and automatically identifying and processing input signal VGA and DVI.Normal video images adjusting the picture from OSD menu were realized finally.
     The Video Image Generator was used for examining all designed function strictly at the phase of system test.The test result totally accords with the specification of product development.Consequently a software system for LCD with MST9251 is achieved.
