基于PCI总线的微机接口技术实验设备研制

摘要
微机原理及接口技术系列课程,是电子信息类理工科学生必修课程,而该课程的特点是概念抽象,实践性强。学生在学习此类课程时有一定的难度,加强此类课程的实践教学,是学生学好此类课程的关键。因此,结合教学大纲,研究、开发微机原理与接口技术实验设备,对培养学生综合能力和创新意识是很有必要的,不仅具有较高的理论研究意义和实用价值,同时也具有显著的经济效益和很大的社会效益。
     原来的该类实验设备均为单板机或基于ISA总线,而目前的计算机主板提供给用户的总线插槽大多为PCI总线插槽。同时,CPLD/FPGA可编程技术在电子技术应用中得到了广泛应用。因此,基于PCI总线,利用CPLD/FPGA可编程技术实现设备的开发,是开发、研制微机原理与接口技术实验设备的发展方向。
     本论文工作分为三个部分。第一,对PCI总线技术规范、PCI9052总线桥接器芯片的功能、串行EEPROM及其系统参数配置、防止系统总线竞争等方面进行了研究,在研究的基础上,基于PCI总线、采用CPLD/FPGA可编程技术,设计实现了PCI-ISA总线转换电路,并对转换后的ISA系统总线信号进行驱动,驱动后的系统总线信号以DB62形式提供给外部实验箱;第二,利用Protel99软件开发外部实验箱各部分逻辑电路及PCB设计;第三,利用Max+plusII仿真软件对PCI-ISA转换卡上的电路进行逻辑仿真,并利用8086汇编语言及DEBUG调试程序对实验箱上的各部分逻辑电路进行动态调试。
     通过仿真与实际动态调试,生产了50台样机并通过局域网连接已应用于本科教学。通过应用,表明系统结构合理、逻辑正确,能满足教学要求,具有一定的经济效益和社会效益。
Microcomputer Principle and Interface Technology is a compulsory course for students majoring in science and engineering of electronic information.since this course is characteristic of being abstract and practical,students have difficulty in their study.The key to studying this course well is to place emphasis on practical teaching.Therefore,developing experiment equipment for Microcomputer Principle and Interface Technology,combining teaching Program and research,is necessary to cultivate students’comprehensive capacity and innovative ideology,which has not only theoretical significance and practical value,but also has some economic benefits and great social effects.
     The original experiment equipment was single trigger or based on ISA bus, while the current computer motherboard provides users mostly with PCI bus.At the same time, CPLD/FPGA programmable technology obtains a broad application in electronic technology application.Therefore, based on PCI bus, using CPLD/FPGA programmable technology equipment to develop experiment equipment for Microcomputer Principle and Interface Technology is the trend of development.
     This paper is divided into three parts.First,it conducts a research into the PCI bus technology standard,the PCI9052 bus bridge chip function,serial EEPROM and its system paramte,configuration and the prevention of system bus emulation.On the basis of this research and based on PCI bus ,by using CPLD/FPGA programmable technology,PCI-ISA bus switching circuit is realized,and the switched ISA system bus signal is driven and the driven system bus signal is provided to the external experiment box in the form of DB62.Second,it develops logic circuits of each part in the external experiment box and the PCB design by using Protel 99 software.Third,it carries on the logical simulation to PCI-ISA conversion card circuits by using Max+plusII,and carries on the dynamic debugging of logic circuits of each part in the experiment box by using 8086 Assmbly Language and the DEBUG debugging program.
     Through simulation and actual dynamic debugging, 50 prototypes have been produced and applied in the undergraduate teaching through local area network link.Through the application, the system structure proves to be reasonable, logical and can meet the demand of teaching, having certain economic benefits and great social effects.
