摘要

分析了中国古籍电子化和网络化面临的问题和研究用Unicode和XML技术解决古籍电子化和网络化问题的方法。系统地介绍了Unicode的体系结构和基本多文种平面BMP(BasicMultilingual Plane)以及Unicode的变换格式UTF-8和UTF-16。研究和实现了Unicode在电子出版物中的实现方法和实现方法的优缺点。系统地阐述了XML和XML的相关标准；XML和Unicode的关系以及DOM(Document Object Model)对XML文档的解析，研究和开发XML技术在电子出版物《e康熙字典》中的应用。同时也详细地阐述了COM／DCOM技术和基于COM／DCOM的ActiveX技术以及ActiveX技术在《e康熙字典》中的应用。阐述了RPC技术、MIDL和RPC在Client／Server中的工作原理以及RPC在《e康熙字典》中的应用研究。
This article analyses electron and network problem of Chinese Ancient Books ,and studies technology of Unicode and XML to resolve this problem ; systematically introduces Unicode architecture , BMP(Basic Multilingual Plane),UTF-8 and UTF-16 ; study and develop realizable methods of Unicode in electronic publications and weakness and merits of Unicode .
