The unpolluted rainwater of a flat panel display industry in Chengdu was stored in the rainwater storage tank, while the polluted rainwater and wastewater were trapped through the interception tank. The construction cost was saved and the construction period was effectively shortened through the optimized design of interception tank. Rainwater and wastewater were usually discharged to municipal rainwater and sewerage pipes, while the polluted rainwater and wastewater were raised to the accident emergency tank. The volume of the interception tank was effectively reduced by the rainwater storage tank. Compared with the scheme of setting the electric sluice valve at the end of the pipeline, it can avoid that the rainwater and wastewater could not be discharged into the municipal pipeline because of the excessively buried pipeline, moreover, it can improve the safety and reliability of the system.
