摘要
《Fog x FLO》是日本艺术家中谷芙二子在波士顿翡翠项链公园内创作的大型公共艺术互动装置。该作品是为了纪念翡翠项链保护协会成立二十周年,向该公园的主要设计师——美国景观设计之父弗雷德里克·劳·奥姆斯特德致敬。作品延续了中谷芙二子五十年来《雾的雕塑》系列作品一贯的风格,这也是该系列作品第一次在波士顿展出。此次展出时间长达两个半月,由于作品形式独特,又能完美融合于现场环境,所以公园开放期间,来参观的游客络绎不绝。
Fog x FLO is a large interactive installation of public art in the Boston Common created by Japanese artist Fujiko Nakaya. It is to celebrate the twentieth anniversary of the Emerald Necklace Conservation Society and to salute to Frederick Law Olmsted, the leading designer of such green space, also known as the father of American landscape design. This installation is in consistency of the series Fog Sculptures by Fujiko Nakaya in the last fifty years and serves as the debut of such art works in Boston. The exhibition lasts for two and half months, attracting visitors from all over to appreciate the unique and perfectly environment integrated work of art.
