After many year grounds and artesian well massive work, to the Xinjiang non-marine facies Late Cretaceous stratum distribution rule, the environment of deposition, thickness change and the lothological characteristic had the further understanding. The Ostracoda fossil has certain quantity in Songorine Basin and Turpan Basin,  Tarim Basin saw fragmentarily that, had reflected at that time for the leaning fresh water shallow water environment, mainly for the rivers - shallow lacustrine environment, demonstrated the Late Cretaceous biota change characteristic, the fossil combination characteristic was obvious, has established three Ostracoda fossil combination, and contrasted the good function and the usability for the Late Cretaceous land facies stratum division of Xinjiang area .
