 Current water source of Shaanxi Coking Co., Ltd.is not sufficient to meet the increasing water requirement. New water source, therefore, is required to be found. A new water well opened in discovered water source area is located in between the Yuxian River and the Shiti River, about 200 m south of the Weihe dam. In this paper, a conceptual model of hydrogeology in the survey area was created for the new water source area, on which calculation and anticipation of numerical simulation for underground water in this area has been used by means of commonly used software, Visual Modflow, thus resulting in the conclusion that the increase of minable water depends on the water recharge and evaporation of the Wehe River.
