///The CO2 geological storage demonstration project in the Otway Basin is the first carbon geosequestration which is integrated from source to sink in Australia.The international collaborated research program is also approved by the Carbon Sequestration Leadership Forum and the International Energy Agency.CO2CRC is in charge of the project.The project site is located in the Otway Basin in the Victoria State.The research project commenced in 2003 and the whole research plan includes 2 stages.The mainly trapping mechanism is the structure closure.
