The Pre-Processing and Reconstruction Technique for Shallow Layer Acoustic Curve in Old Oilfield

In this paper a set of pre-processing technique including acoustic caliper correction, standardization processing, and velocity correction was summarized to reconstruct the acoustic logging curves by taking deep lateral resistivity as reference curve. The application results for the reconstructed curves in a block of Gang East area demonstrated that the correlationship between the borehole-side seismic traces and the synthetic records which were made by using reconstructed acoustic logging curves were obviously increased, the ability for the inversion results to resolve sand and shale was greatly raised, which matched the drilling results very well.
