Lithofacies—Paleogeography and Petroleum Exploration Potential in Silurian—Devonian, Bachu—Maigaiti Region, Tarim Basin
摘要
Great potential for petroleum exploration has been proved in Silurian-Devonian of Bachu-Maigaiti region, Tarim Basin. The studies of lithofacies and paleogeography are very necessary. According to outcrop profile, core sample and logging data, combined with the distribution of sandbody and seismic facies, the lithofacies and paleogeography of the study area have been recovered. 4 sets of favorable reserve-cap assemblage have been identified in Silurian-Devonian in the south of the study area. Well regions BC1-K1-F1 in the southwest and HT1-H4-BD2 in the southeast are favorable for exploration. S1k, D1-2k and D3d are the main intended interveals.
