摘要
In lights of the diversity of water quality evaluation index and incompatibility of evaluation results given by single index, the authors set up a groundwater quality evaluation model based on element unit theory and set water quality standard, evaluation index and characteristic value. The authors made a comprehensive water quality evaluation of 42 pieces of shallow water sample data and cited the plain shallow groundwater in Suzhou as an example. It was concluded that the water quality was fine in southern shallow water area, severely polluted in northern and eastern sections, and locally transformation trend of grade three to grade four of water quality.
