摘要

At 20∶58 on June 5th, 2010, an M_S4.6 earthquake occurred in Yangqu County, Taiyuan City, Shanxi Province. This paper analyzed major active faults near the epicentral area one by one through the isoseismal map, distribution characteristics of aftershocks and focal mechanism solution. The final determination is that south marginal fault of Shilingguan in north marginal fault of Jiaocheng is the seismogenic fault of this earthquake.
