///Huoyanshan lies in the hinterland of the Eurasia and is major geoheritage landscape of the Huoyanshan Geopark in Turpan, Xinjiang. The correlation with the Danxia landform indicates that landform of the Huoyanshan Geopark belongs to the Kuqa landform which may be divided into 9 types and 12 subtypes. The study indicates that it was formed from the folded Mesozoic and Cenozoic continental varicolored clastic rock by flood erosion and wind erosion under dry condition.
