///The northwest coast of Bohai Sea can be horizontally classified into six oyster barrier reefs. Based on thedescription of geometrical morphology characteristics and dissected profiles for oyster barrier reefs’ bodies, the study carried out comparative analysis for mineral crystal forms of oyster barrier reefs bodies using X-ray diffraction and Laser Raman. The internal structure and mineral components of individual oyster shell from the BKP20-2 profile in Biaokou county was investigated under binocular microscope. Through mechanical excavation and drilling, the author obtained the thickness of spatial accumulation and occurrence elevation of oyster barrier reef bodies, and ¹⁴C age data for each profile in the vertical direction, the internal structure of the oyster reef accumulation, and horizontal intercalation and content change of CaCOa.  The results above provide the basis for obtaining the evolution model of growth, development and extinction of the oyster barrier reefs＇ bodies.
