摘要
In this paper, the authors report the palynological assemblages of drill holes at Liushagang Formation and Weizhou Formation from Beibuwan Basin,South China Sea.Four palynological assemblages of Liushagang Formation, three palynological assemblages and eight sub-assemblages of Weizhou Formation were found based on the dominant assemblages partition and the diagnostic individual analysis. The established age of palynological assemblages of Liushagang Formation is in the Eocene, while the first interval dominated in algae in Liushagang Formation is in the Late Eocene.Meanwhile, the age of palynological assemblages of Weizhou Formation belongs to Oligocene. In Beibuwan Basin, the boundary of the Eocene and Oligocene boundary is between Liu-shagang Formation and Weizhou Formation.
