摘要
Bauxite deposits in Kaili-Huangping area of Guizhou are diaspore type sedimentary deposits that are occurred on carbonate erosion surface,and no medium or large bauxite deposits have been found in the past.After years of prospection,one large bauxite deposit and several small-medium deposits are preliminarily proven.The research on the geological conditions of the deposits and their metallogenic regularity shows that 1) these deposits were formed in Permian Liangshan formation;2) the spatial distribution of the deposits is principally affected by palaeokarst and epigenetic tectonism;3) the coexisting minerals are siderites and coals,while most iron mines are in the west and most coal mines are in the east;and 4) a trade-off relationship between the thickness of iron-bed and that of bauxite-bed is established.
