摘要
A residential communit of Tangshan City is 1ocated at piedmont plain.The Quaternary deposits are about 350 m in depth,and the underlying bedrock is mainly Ordovician limestones.In general,the study alea situates at karst collapse of relatively unstable regions. Meanwhile,this resdential community belongs to high-rise residential projects,thus karst Collapse is the main types of geological disasters. Based on the former research results,drilling data and shallow seismic prospecting result,the main aim of this paper is to study the risk of karst collapse in this region.For the characteristics of hazard evaluation of geological disaslers,the short cycle time and low cast,the paper supplies a method to study geological hazards assessment in this kind of karst area.
